Reanna Cassidy's Art

This is the only picture of the value project I have because I cant find the sketchbook that it is in and this was the only picture I took of it.

This was my coffe shop logo design. I wanted to have some fireworks coming  out of the coffee. 

This was my Mural idea. I wanted to do a tree incorporating all the arts

This was the first painting I had done in the class this year. I feel like I could have done better on this painting but it was my first attempt on something like this. This was from a real picture my mom took of me over summer at the beach, the look really similar. This painting was hard and took me a while to draw my silhouette because im not good at doing a body figure.  

This was my half-sun half-moon art piece. It came from a random sketch I did in the middle of the summer that I wanted to make into a painting. In this picture the warm tones are off a little bit and you cant see the glitter in the paint. I also have some shredded cotton balls on the clouds. I really like this project that I did.

This art was so difficult to me, it took blood ,sweat, and tears. This project kept me up several nights and I got so frustrated over it. I don't remember which part was the most difficult. I really like the way that the stippling turned out because it is so different and I had never done any type of stippling before, it was fun but it also took a long time to do. The squares that had to be in reverse really confused me and I don't like the way they look as much but its okay. The normal and high contrast squares were not hard at all. I decided to do a picture of my show that I took because it was a real picture  and I  didn't think it would be that hard.

This is my art piece that was for Jim-n-Nicks. I decided to do a piece of pie because it seemed easy to paint and it was a farm-to-table. I wanted to add more shadow and detail but I didn't because I didn't know how to add that much detail. I really enjoy this art work and I am really proud of how the plaid tablecloth ended up because it is really good.  I also like  the whip cream on the top because I was able to add good highlights.

This is  my jelly fish project. We were supposed to draw an animal and then draw a certain size box, and then make anything inside the box color and everything outside the box in black and white. I didn't like this project, it was weird and I hadn't really ever worked with watercolor so it didn't turn out the greatest. 

This is my color theory project, I decided to do a Volkswagen bus because I absolutely love them and want one. This is the second color theory project that I have done in the past two years in art so it wasn't difficult because I knew what I was doing. I really enjoy this piece because it is very colorful.

This is my scratch board that I did. I chose to do a feather because it seemed to be easier and simple for somebody who had never done a scratch board before. I rushed on some of it to get it done and  I had a really hard time trying to figure out what I should do on it. I don't mind scratch boards very much  but they are definitely not my favorite.

This is my fall nature collage. I really enjoy doing collages since we had done this project because there is such a broad horizon that you can explore. I used  magazine clippings, drawings with pastel and pencil, watercolor and stencils to do this artwork.
